The good is not worth it to me

The main reason I bought these boots is that they were waterproof with Velcro. My daughter came home from school with wet feet and socks. So these boots are NOT waterproof. Boots dried for several days. The boots are also easy to put on and take off. You should not buy winter shoes if they are not waterproof.

Enough grip and traction to prevent slipping on icy surfaces

Cons

May not be easy to repair if damaged
