Review on 📀 Toshiba SD-2200 DVD Player: Superior Performance and Unmatched Entertainment by Steve Harris

The SD-2200 is a great DVD player in many ways. It is excellent in sound, video and features. First of all, you have sound options. If you have a Dolby Digital/DTS receiver, you can use the optical output OR the coaxial digital output to connect your receiver. If you don't have such a receiver, the SD-2200 has a built-in decoder so you can connect the 6-channel analogue outputs to the receiver. The SD-2200 also has all the popular video options. You can choose Composite Video, S-Video, or Component Video. I'm using component video with my Toshiba 27V51 TV and the picture quality is great! I've also seen an SD-2200 mated to S-Video for excellent quality. In terms of features, the SD-2200 is loaded. First of all, it has 2 disc trays, so you can change a disc while playing another. I find this feature particularly useful as it allows me to store an audio CD in one drive and a DVD in another. The SD-2200 also has 3 zoom levels, excellent pause and frame-by-frame controls, and a great, easy-to-use joystick-style remote control. The SD-2200 has been working very well for me for the past 9 months. I'm sure it will give me many years of pleasure!
