Review on Dorman 599 211XD Climate Control Module by Joshua Morales
Dorman 599-211 will not fit 06 Envoy with automatic HVAC controls.
Bought for use in 06 GMC Envoy. The first module failed to program the truck, Dorman Technical Support tried to help me with the programming. The programming did not work, the technician recommended exchanging the device for another of the same type. The second unit could not be programmed onto my truck, Dorman Tech tried to 'walk' me through the programming after I failed to program the new unit I was asked to provide my VIN and was told I would need a remanufactured one Buy unit to work My truck had their block 599-018 purchased and works perfectly.
