I bought the Royal Canin French Bulldog formula because two of my Frenchies were having trouble eating - the eldest would get hot spots if he ate the wrong proteins, while the younger would get hives if she had too much grain. I'm happy to report that Royal Canin's formula was eaten with greed (no surprise) and easily digested (surprisingly rare!). The feed specifically advertises three advantages: Protein supplement to maintain muscle mass: Yes! After three months on the new diet, both dogs are feeling better than ever and full of energy. - Promotes healthy skin: yes! The older dog's hot spots and rash had completely disappeared and the younger dog had no problems with hives. - Reduces odor associated with flatulence and bowel movements: yes! I didn't pay much attention to this selling point when I originally decided on the brand, but after switching I found that both dogs had less gas and more hard, dry stools. That was great! I sincerely recommend you try this product with your Frenchies. I have found this to be the perfect food for my little goblins.
