This pillow arrived quickly and was compressed. The instructions are to set it aside for 48 hours after unpacking to allow it to fully expand. It had a really strong smell so I was more than happy to leave it in place. I have a chemical sensitivity so put it on the porch for fresh air to blow over it. It smelled so strong that a stray cat ran over to check it, sniffed it, and then grimaced. The smell gradually faded, but it took almost a month. When I press the face I can still smell it which doesn't make me happy. My face doesn't look as full and toned as in the photo. It is filled with crushed foam compared to the solid foam form. I don't like sleeping on it that much because it feels lumpy. My partner likes it. I sleep on my side and he sleeps on my back. I am currently using it between my knees to relieve arthritis pain at night. She's great for this, soft yet supportive. All in all a good pillow. It would be better if the smell wasn't so terrible.
