Review on Sennheiser Momentum Free wireless headphones, black by Agung Rey ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

The sound in bluetooth headphones is a relative concept, because. it is always compared with the sound quality of wired ones. This model is the best in comparison with other wireless. headphones in the range up to 10k, in my opinion. The aptX codec solves the problem of transmitting high-quality sound via bluetooth, namely up to 350kb / s, which of course is not CD quality, but still very good. BUT! it is important that your device also supports this codec, because. not all smartphone models have it (google it). Chose between many models. Those that are up to 6k, such as Samsung, are immediately in the furnace, the codec is not supported, the sound is terrible. I settled on 3 Sennheiser models: 1. Momentum In-Ear Wireless (10k) - 10h without recharging, the sound is the same as in Momentum Free, not suitable for sports and uncomfortable to wear in winter, because. the bezel interferes and presses on the collarbone; access to the buttons is closed, you have to unbutton your jacket. 2. CX 7.00BT, (7k) - the sound is worse, but not drastically, music lovers will feel the difference (but I would not take it) 3. Momentum Free. (9k) - an option for sports (tested in the gym) and wearing in winter. The wire can be hidden under the T-shirt in front or behind. There is a wire adjustment slider. Adding comments after 2 months of use. 1) Headphones are easy to lose if you just wear them around your neck without sticking them into your ears, because. Again, magnets don't hold. I have to immediately put it away either in a case, which I already have all crumpled because of the fragile material, or in my pocket. 2) And yet, the wire sometimes begins to irritate, you need to monitor its symmetry of the location on the neck, so as not to get discomfort. Bottom line: Ideally, I would consider fully wireless headphones, but where can I get them with such sound quality and battery life of 6 hours and within 10k?

Pros
  • Sound (compared to other bluetooth headphones) Availability of aptX codec Suitable for sports Dimensions, weight (comfortable, despite the fact that there is no "collar" as in the Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear Wireless) Stable bluetooth connection, fast connection (android) Multifunction control buttons Voice information about the charge
Cons
  • Price. Although I bought it for 9k, I still consider it overpriced . A lot of flaws Magnets are weak, no extra. fixation on the neck (such as a lace or something similar) Storage case is very fragile
