Actually much better than expected! I bought a 100mm macro lens at the same time and the results from both are very similar, although the Sigma 18-300 is much more versatile. I have no idea why I bought this kit although the filters might be worth it. The backpack isn't bad, but for a nickel more could it be made with two straps instead of one and a fifth? It would still look like a second year would wear it to school, but at least it would be sturdier. All in all the lens is exceptional and I'm so glad I didn't spend money on a Canon lens - there's no way it can be twice as good for twice the price and that goes for the 100mm macro lens. too much of.
