I wanted a reliable battery backup alarm that worked fine the first time we lost power, worked the second time, failed the third time, I live in one very old town and often power outages so a reliable alarm clock is a must, this alarm clock has failed to wake me up more than once, as a reliable alarm clock I simply cannot recommend it.
