SHARP Digital Alarm Keyboard Controls Review

Works well but makes a buzzing/buzzing noise. I took it off the bedside table and it fell silent, put it back on the bedside table and it kept humming. Strange.

I wanted a reliable battery backup alarm that worked fine the first time we lost power, worked the second time, failed the third time, I live in one very old town and often power outages so a reliable alarm clock is a must, this alarm clock has failed to wake me up more than once, as a reliable alarm clock I simply cannot recommend it.

I've owned many digital alarm clocks over the years. This is my favorite. The adjustment key on the front takes away the hassle of those watches with all those knobs on the back that you have to keep turning to see what you're adjusting. The WORST watch I have ever owned is one with a white background and black numbers. The brightness can never be compensated and the settings are annoying. This clock is good for bedroom, table or kitchen counter.

The clock is smaller than the photo and I love it! I don't like clutter on my bedside table so this is perfect. I like that the red numbers aren't huge but are easy to read at night. My last watch died after 3 years - didn't show the number anymore at night. This clock is advertised as "battery powered" but it actually has a standard 2 pin plug and room for two AAA batteries to keep it running in the event of a power outage.
