These speakers are simply cool! They are very loud with crisp, clear sound! I could hear them on a fairly windy day (25mph wind) while doing 80 with a full face helmet! USB and volume controls have a very robust metal housing. Although I didn't initially adjust the volume control, I have to add it back to make it easier to adjust the sound because going from 80 to the city streets is just MUCH louder! LOL The speakers themselves are all metal and solid, but the design is lame. They're like showerheads. instructions are missing. Not very clear. It says it's plug and play, but on my 2006 HD Deluxe the connector on the end that was supposed to connect to my bike was pretty much the same connector as my bike, both ends were female. I disconnected both connections and connected them together and added my USB to this connection. I put my amp and extra cables in a pocket on the windshield but today I noticed that the amp is very hot so I need to find out if this is normal. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I would recommend anyone looking for Cycle Sounds or Boom Audio to check them out first. $300 less and you get 4 speakers that are all metal instead of plastic. Cons: Amplifier gets very hot, volume control really sucks, installed and removed. The faces of the speakers look like showerheads. same price brands, most cables are very long, metal speakers instead of plastic speakers, sounds good even in the rain.
