I didn't really know what to expect from this system but I'm very impressed! Before that, we only had Blink cameras. We thought that would be enough. Unfortunately we had some children next door which caused some problems. Due to playback restrictions, the video was only 15 seconds long and of no use to law enforcement. We ordered this system because it records 24/7. After true plug and play (yes, really, just plug in the cameras and the system is up and running!), we installed all the cameras and got the system up and running in less than an hour. The image quality on it is excellent! I have a hard drive connected to a TV monitor and I can view all the cameras at the same time. I like it since I work from home but I know what's going on around me. There are no recording limitations as it is constantly recording. I get instant person detection notifications on my phone. Ironically, after installing it, we had another problem. Our neighbors knew we had cameras installed and asked the police to speak to us. They wanted to know if we had any records of a particular car in the area at a particular time. We really have! We sent them the clip and they said it was as good as any system they had seen. That copy was enough to make me grateful we had a system back then and I think it paid off!
