Trajic Design: Heating, cooling and air quality

This air conditioner cools perfectly, but continuously draws in outside air when the fan is running. That means if you don't want to use ECO mode, which turns on the fan quite often to tire it out, the relative humidity in your room will be the same as outside. If you live in Florida, the air conditioner shouldn't. Most air conditioners have a lever to bleed air or internal air (recirculate) - not this one. Unpacking, assembling and installing was so difficult that I got stuck, but I wish I had

Good air conditioning, WIFI, Google Home, can be planned.

I got 15,000 BTUs for my top floor. It easily cools a 24x36 room. How does the air conditioning work. It's quieter than my predecessor, but still not as quiet. It supports Wi-Fi but only works on the 2.4GHz network. It took about 20 minutes on the phone with my company using a tri-band wi-fi network to get this on the wi-fi network. If you want to connect it with Google Home, please use "SMARTHQ" to work with Google app in Google (even if the air conditioner works with Comfort GE app). SMARTHQ…

Spend your money elsewhere

I bought this particular model because it was advertised as having a humidity sensor. No humidity sensor. I also bought this product because it was a smart device. The app to manage this on my iOS device is useless. I have to turn off and restart the air conditioner every time I want to use the app. This device is also very noisy and generates excessive vibration. It tends to change temperature by about six degrees. For example, if the setting is 72, the device will cycle from 69 to 75. I can't

Poor quality best in window

I ordered this air conditioner and when it arrived I was happy to have it installed just before the heat wave. The construction is flimsy and you can see the styrofoam as the main chamber. It wasn't even sealed as you can see the light where it was assembled. I decided to give it a try anyway as it was heavy and already assembled. First, it's not 12,000 BTU, it's 11,600 that says on the box. Not a big difference, but false advertising nonetheless. I chose economy mode because I like to save…

Avoid this unit and buy something else

I bought this air conditioner to keep a 10x15 room cool and when it is working at its best it doesn't do its job well but after running it for a while , it keeps turning off. It stops blowing "cold" air and eventually stops blowing altogether. If the weather is wet, forget it. Again, this is for a small space and cannot get the job done. The unit is noisy, and the vents that control where the air conditioner sends the "cooled" air don't give you much control at all. Very badly designed. The…

Works well, quiet and looks good

This is one of the most expensive items I have ever bought from Revain and I have to say I was concerned that at over 80 pounds it would arrive safe and sound would. It weighs but was pleasantly surprised when the box arrived with no dent or hole in the box. I've installed an air conditioner of this size before, so you need to know that you install the frame first, and then you put the air conditioner back into the frame. This ran one summer season in high humidity and worked flawlessly…

A Touch of Power and Still Going Strong

Oregon, June 2021. The worst heatwave in human history. My house, built in 1946, has poor insulation, large single pane windows and a 14x22 living/dining room. When the temp hits 80-95F I can usually run this on "ECO" set at 74F, the fan is low and it keeps it pretty close to 74F. Here are the last few days when temperatures hit 100F at 11am and didn't drop below 100F until around 11pm. I ran it on a COLD fan on the MED and the temp rose to 77F as the outside temp reached 112F. Today for the…

Good Basic Air Conditioner

I was looking for a 12,000 BTU air conditioner and Revain had a short-term rebate about $100 less than everyone else (including weird brands you've never heard of). I was a little shocked as there were only a few reviews with little information, but I bought it. It arrived undamaged. The installation was carried out by two people due to the weight of the device. No bracing was required to keep it out. The accordion panels on each side are loosely attached to the side of the unit and daylight is

I received this air conditioner in a box that had no bottom so it cannot be returned if needed. The Ac is in the foam packing material which is also on the bottom of the box. and fastened with strong ties. I had to pay a handyman $25 to install it as I can't even lift it. After about 5 weeks it stopped blowing cold air and then started beeping. the same squeaking as when pressing the buttons on the control panel. Approximately every 15 minutes there will be a long, random series of beeps of up…
