Laser cutting is beautiful and precise. I have a good mechanical pickaxe, it was difficult for me to assemble the kit. After assembling, some adjustments are needed to make it work smoothly. The instructions are kind of confusing. In general, I liked collecting. You need patience and some mechanical knowledge.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! He built it the next morning. It took about 4-5 hours to put together as advertised, but he loves that sort of thing so it didn't bother him at all. Works great as you can see in the video. Not a single part broke during assembly (which has happened with other kits in the past). It was absolutely bang on the money and I'm very glad I bought it!

I am impressed with the accuracy of this kit. And the perfect cut of all the details and very thoughtful instructions. There are many additional small, important parts. I love that it doesn't need anything that isn't in the box. Compared to Lego, the ratio of hours of building fun to dollars spent is about ten times better. This is the second 3D wooden robot project I've started with kids. To be honest, it's harder than I thought. The instructions for some of the steps can be complicated, so it is recommended that you read them again. My child builds lego sets regularly and doesn't need any help, but robots are different.
