Oregon, June 2021. The worst heatwave in human history. My house, built in 1946, has poor insulation, large single pane windows and a 14x22 living/dining room. When the temp hits 80-95F I can usually run this on "ECO" set at 74F, the fan is low and it keeps it pretty close to 74F. Here are the last few days when temperatures hit 100F at 11am and didn't drop below 100F until around 11pm. I ran it on a COLD fan on the MED and the temp rose to 77F as the outside temp reached 112F. Today for the first time I actually have to use the HIGH fan and COOL mode as the temperature is expected to be 116F. The remote control simplifies setup. The panel is small, so it's a bit difficult to read from across the room, but using the app (device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi (2G only) as the AC box) makes setup easier. Power consumption is high. At old Kenmore in the early 80's we dimmed every light in the house. It doesn't even flicker. Best of all, my electricity bill is significantly lower this year compared to last year! Better than anything. It's not too heavy or heavy like some devices, so it's a lot easier to install.
