Skin is big enough for the frozen pizza we like but not too big to cause storage problems. Initially I thought the handle was bamboo and not oak as advertised but after speaking to the seller I was convinced the handle was oak just with a lighter finish more reminiscent of bamboo. I particularly like the large adjustment knob that makes it easy to move the knob between use and storage. All in all a very good product that serves its purpose.
