I don't understand why this market offers such terrible products. I had an Arlo system that couldn't communicate with the cameras because their base station is junk. I chose Canary because they are WiFi based and I have a Google WiFi connected house so my whole house has excellent coverage. I'm even less impressed by these canaries. Yes, setup is easy. However, the application is very poorly developed. The real problem is the battery. I lose about 20% a day. The settings you can manage are very basic, so I know I've changed them all to take advantage of minimal battery life and still stay at 20% a day. Nobody makes a decent battery powered camera with Wi-Fi these days.
