Bought a small cube to hide my EDC gear in my backpack when hiking. This includes a smartphone (in a quilted case), a wallet, a notepad, house and car keys, a knife and a multi-tool. It all fits with a little room to share, almost perfectly. Closes tightly - I don't use it for full dive protection, just sweat and rain, but it's totally waterproof and protects your sensitive gear even if you toss the pack in the river. The material seems sturdy enough to comfortably carry in my backpack without extra protection. The translucent top is very nice - you can see what's inside at a glance. No extra materials or parts to take up space, overall it looks very solid. Also, I was able to buy it "used" for only $25, which is great value compared to the $39 they wanted new. Used arrived in perfect condition as far as I can tell. Caveats: My smartphone is about 5 7/8 inches (15mm) long and fits snugly in its case, but you can't stick anything in there for too long. there. -Maybe- another 0.5 inch. The material is slightly soft to the touch. Not enough to be frantic for my purposes, but if you're rough and have a lot of sharp/flat/hard objects or tools, you might get in trouble. If you're just tossing this in your beach bag to protect things, you should be fine. I recommend.
