Potatoes and other foods can be excellently mashed with the KUFUNG potato masher. With this manual pusher you get two layers of puree. The bottom layer is for coarser sanding, while the top layer is for finer sanding. The press is spring-loaded so the top press moves closer to the food as you blend, helping to finely grind the food. Simply place your hand on the stainless steel handle and start kneading. Perhaps the best feature of this pusher is the silicone coating. With this coating, you don't have to worry about scratching your pots and pans. This feature alone makes KUFUNG Masher remarkable. Its ability to mash with the best of 'em is another reason I love this pounder. It's larger than the others, though, so make sure your bowl is big enough to hold it. Another thing I love about this potato masher is the durability. Can't say for sure as I've only had it a short time, but this product seems more durable and made to last. As for other pushers, I've found them to flex slowly with repeated use - they wear out and don't hold up to repeated pushes and lifts. This puree seems to be thicker and I hope it doesn't have this problem. In my family we love potatoes and eat more mashed potatoes than any other type of potato. You need a good potato masher and this KUFUNG potato masher is one of the best I've ever used. It can also be excellently pureed and cooked with other foods, which makes it a valuable helper in the kitchen.
