Durable and comfortable, but strong dye smell until I soaked it in borax

Loved the look and feel of this lanyard, but it had a *very* strong dye smell when it arrived. I soaked the fabric part of the lanyard in a bowl with warm water and borax for about an hour or two. I then let it dry in the sun and it removed the smell completely. Happy with my purchase!
