Review on GM Genuine Parts Windshield Washer Fluid Level Sensor - 20999338, 8 inches by Tyrell Hudson

This replaced the OE which failed. I assume that this one will also fail. GM supplied them from the Chinese factory. They are a magnetic switch, not a mechanical one. The old one was always tested "enabled". This caused the display every time the stacker was started. Aggravating. I unplugged the electrical connector first and put it in a sealed plastic bag for protection. I thought it would work again if I sold this truck. 2011 Sliverado LT. The mileage is only 31,000 miles so leave it as is. But this part is cheap enough to replace. It's not a difficult job. I unscrewed the top screws where the second battery compartment is. This weakens the liquid bottle. I was able to reach under the wheel well and pull out the old block. Replace it with a new one, connect the power supply and replace the top screws. The top screws were different lengths so I marked each hole where the longer one went. Now it works again.
