I was very pleased with the feel and weight

This is the first review I have ever written on Revain and also the most disappointing product I have purchased from this site. When I received this amp I was very happy with the feel and weight. This, along with the online reviews, led me to believe I was expecting a real treat. This amp was purchased with Seismic Audio SA-15T PA speakers rated at 350 RMS and 700 Max. I figured a 500W RMS amp into 8 ohms would have enough power to drive the speakers to allow the speakers to reach their full potential before the amp started clipping. I was completely wrong. The first amp (mbg400) had a defective channel B which caused the volume control to not work. I made sure the amp is not in bridge mode. In addition, the amplifier ran relatively quietly, but the sound quality was excellent. I figured the whole unit was defective and replacing the amp would resolve my arguments. So amp #2 arrived in the mail. Both channel volume controls work fine this time, but I still have a problem with the volume. Again, the sound quality was good, but the amp limited the volume to about half what I was expecting. I base this idea on the fact that I am currently using a Stuart World 1.2 amp running at 200W RMS into 8 ohms in stereo and is able to reproduce the same sound quality at almost twice the volume without clipping. I figured this amp from Seismic Audio could at least offer a little more sound given the power difference. Other than that, the SA-15T PA speakers are just amazing. I'm even saving to buy a pair of 18" subwoofers. I'm just not sure what's going on with the amps. I read a review where someone said the amp cuts off too early, but I decided to give it a try and see for myself. I'm looking at a Crown XLS 2500 amp. I'm just looking for an amp that unleashes the full potential of these 15s. I am giving this product 2 stars based on build quality and sound but overall I am very disappointed with the volume and clipping issues.
