Works best on show coats or summer coats but is still a great product for those who haven't shed yet and will leave them smelling fresh and clean. Also, it's so small that it might be best to only use it at shows, not for everyday stable use. I bought large regular horse spray bottles from my local Tractor Supply and use these instead. And of course, these large bottles allow you to mix a lot more concentrate at once, saving you time. Sense!
