Review on πŸ“ž AT&T DECT 6.0 Digital Four Handset Cordless Telephone: Answering System & Caller ID (SL82418) by Wendy Zhao

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Call base #1 on landline

Just received and set up this 6 handset phone system. Set up was relatively easy thanks to great instructions and a quick start guide. As long as the system works properly. Some nits are poking around. 1. Most operations are done from phones and your input is instantly available on all phones including the phone directory, which is a good feature but can be problematic. (See #2)2. My previous AT&T phone, which was 8 years old, allowed each phone to have its own phone book. I had my own directory of people I call and the same for my wife. This nice feature is gone with the new system. RIP.3. The phone book contains 50 entries, but there's no way to see how many you've entered so you know how many more to add. I think you just have to wait for the "directory full" message. AT&T gets yikes! for this deficiency. My old system displayed the bill on the phone screen. REST IN PEACE. Incidentally, this is the only current AT&T model that has a wired headphone jack. That's all, that's all, other models require a bluetooth headset which is outrageously priced. Too bad about AT&T! In general, the sound is good on both sides. I chose this model because it had the fewest 1* or 2* ratings after reading the Revain reviews. Unfortunately none of the phones from Vtech, Panasonic, AT&T or Uniden had only 4* or 5* ratings.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Waiting too long
