Bought and returned for a replacement as it was defective. It turned out that both were defective. I'm not sure if it's a bad part, but the lowest point of the bass actually starts at Max, then gradually increases the bass to half and then back to Min. You can see in the video where it drops the bass by about 65% cuts up.
