I'm always looking for a better bib. My daughter makes a big mess at meals but is very independent. She really won't let us feed her anymore. So their clothes fail. I've tried many silicone bibs that wash well, but they didn't seem to cover their clothes adequately and were very heavy. Especially when she was only 6 months old. This bib "shirt" is very light and not only covers the chest but also the arms. From time to time, when she falls just right, she might put something on her lap, but that doesn't happen often. The bibs are very washable and even machine washable if there really is a mess. The front pocket catches whatever it drops and holds quite a bit which was amazing. The velcro on the back works well and doesn't accidentally get caught in the bib as the fabric is smooth and won't snag. The bibs are very light and don't even feel as heavy as a t-shirt. They keep her clothes clean no matter what she spills on them and they fit her perfectly. For reference, she is 33 inches tall, weighs 26 pounds, currently wears 2T and is 24 months old. They will easily suit her for a while at her current growth rate, well past the 6-24 month recommendation for her. I would also say this would be huge for her at 6 months old. So keep that in mind when choosing these bibs. Overall I highly recommend these bibs, they fit my daughter perfectly and I think they will fit your baby too!
