Not as best described in power steering

Nothing like description. White with blue boots. Neither the packaging nor the item suggested it was even made by Moog. On a positive note, Revain made returns painless.

This MOOG is suitable for power steering

This is a MOOG device. You can find the SSD99 model number on the MOOG website. I think the instructions are missing, but that might just be me since I've never installed them.

Chatter Problem - Parts

needed a small adjustment to fit my 1987 Montero but more importantly it cured my front wheel chatter which was occurring consistently at 35-45mph on my bigger car than Standard tires 31x10.5

Power Steering Damper

Ever since I bought it in 1977 I have wanted to install this item on my 1976 Jeep CJ5. I received the set promptly. The instructions were easy and my only regret is that I didn't do it years ago.

Easy install works well

This is a different color than stated as it is a Moog. All made in Mexico and the ones that were in stock, one is white the other is black. None of them say Moog, just part numbers.

Not even sure if the Moog

If there wasn't a sticker on the box saying it was a Moog I would never have been able to tell. Also, it was a white-painted damper with a blue boot. Hm? So after receiving it I re-read the description and it said "colors may vary". So I think I should have read it a little better. The damper seems to work great, but I'm still not sure if it's really the brand I thought I bought. The seller must specify at least the choice of color when ordering.

Mandatory for vehicles with raised wheels and vehicles with large wide tires

This is an excellent kit for various vehicle types. I installed it on a 4" taller Suzuki sidekick with 32" x 10" tires because I was having trouble handling some of the rutted roads I ride. This kit worked flawlessly with a slight modification to one bracket. This kit changed the way the sidekick drives now with just two fingers on the wheel. Highly recommend this kit if you have a jacked/elevated car or use wide tires. This kit also made the terrain a lot better. Hands when I hit big rocks on…
