Let me start by saying I'm a big fan of Keane and buying these shoes made me nervous as I was skeptical about them in every way. Now I feel like this is the funniest thing I've ever experienced! The style is different, but still very versatile. I bought the black ones and they go with almost everything. The rear heel material is somewhat similar to a wetsuit with a neoprene feel. This makes them very easy to put on and take off. Not sure if they are advertised as waterproof but I wore them for a few days during the rainy season and every day I wore them my feet were dry. You have a firm and supportive soul. It wasn't what I imagined, but I'm very comfortable with it all day. I bought them because I needed new shoes.
