I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

If this model had been available with a customizable backlight, I would have bought it immediately. The laptop was purchased in March, but the warranty started in December. Thankfully, this issue was resolved with just one email to the office with a photo of the receipt. I plan to install more ssd. It's still too little.

Pros
  • A month after making the purchase, I am now writing. We shopped around for a laptop that wouldn't be obsolete in a couple of years. And they were completely content. The screen is beautiful. They swiped it because of the high quality iron it contained. Brings up both necessary and unnecessary information. Even though that wasn't why I bought it, I relived my youth by downloading old games and playing them with ultra settings and ultra visuals. Overheating never resulted in amputation or hanging. The HP drivers install themselves, and the key clicks are satisfyingly quiet (crucial, given the volume of typing involved). There are no squeaks when closing or opening. You won't get the impression that the screen will break if you tug on a corner. The battery life seems quite substantial to me. After an hour of continuous use—on Skype, the web, and music—it has displayed 50% battery life remaining. The fans are so quiet that even at maximum speed they won't be an annoyance, and they won't even kick on during most "office" duties.
Cons
  • A green neon keyboard that looks different even when the illumination is off is obviously not my own. Now that I've become used to it, I use it as a system unit, with a keyboard and monitor attached to the desk. My minus after switching from Lenovo: the touchpad's buttons are in a raised section. There is no right-side scroll bar. Intense gaming causes it to overheat. Must have a cooling pad. Certainly not severed, but definitely not pleasant. Simple to stain.
