Review on 1080P Night Vision Smart Pet Camera with Treat Dispenser & Tossing, 2.4G WiFi, Live Video, 2 Way Audio Communication for Dogs and Cats - HONGSA Pet Camera by Jessica Sommers

I bought this to be able to see/treat my cat while I'm at work or at the weekend (and so my family can see my cat too). For that it works very well. I love that he has a bowl and doesn't "throw away" treats. Who wants treats scattered all over the house? Part is adjustable. The treats I use are a bit large/rectangular as recommended (I use temptation cat treats) but they work well, just the amount dispensed may vary slightly each time. I set it to dispense a small amount so I can control it by pressing the button multiple times. The camera works great and the two-way communication is good too. My cat doesn't speak, but I hear the treats fall onto the plate and he chews them. I even used it to have a quick chat with my sister while she was using the camera. The laser has never worked with it, but I already have an automatic laser, so this wasn't a problem for me. I can hear it moving, but the laser isn't lit. I contacted the customer support email address but it doesn't seem like they can resolve the issue. The app works pretty well once you get the hang of it. I'm tech savvy so I was able to figure it out, but some things aren't very obvious and I need more detailed instructions. You can share it, although finding a way to scan a QR code is very difficult. There's no way to turn it on or off from the app (which I like to do when I'm at home so the people I share the camera with can't spy on me), so you can either turn it off or do what I did and plug it into a smart socket that I can now control remotely. Sometimes the camera won't connect and turning it off is the solution. With the Smart Jack connected I can also do this remotely which is very helpful. It would be nice if you could somehow do this through the app in case you're not at home and it's not working properly and there isn't something to fix. Overall I'm happy with it and it does exactly what I wanted it to do but it took some fiddling to get it working the way I wanted it to and the laser doesn't work for me so I can't give it a high rating. . This is an honest review. If I am offered a gift for writing a review I will try to get it, but this in no way influenced my decision to write this review or what I wrote in it. I should add that while it's great for my purpose and I would recommend it to my friends to help them use it, I gave it three stars because the laser doesn't work, it was hard to find how to scans the QR code to share in the app, and the camera sometimes needs to be reset, so I think some people might struggle with that unless you want to troubleshoot or find out yourself.
