I like that it allows me to create my own profile, and then other members can view it. Also, it provides an easy way for them to contact me via email or text. I wish there was more interaction between users. I would love to be able to see who they follow and what their interests are, but there isn't such functionality. If you want to start building your network of contacts in your area, this is definitely one to try. It's so much easier than trying to go out and meet people in person! I have been able to grow my network through this platform. The connections I've made with others has helped me get new clients.
Pros
- You really do need someone helping guide/teach how best use these applications if used properly though
- even when using social media platforms specifically designed around networking groups & events where meetings could occur organically..like LinkedIn Groups etc.
Cons
- I don't really have any dislikes about this, everything is just fine
