Love this product, you can add essential oils directly.

I love the fact that you can add essential oils instead of one of those little oils that are too strong for me and my kitty. So I just add a drop or two to the entire 1/2 gallon tank and it's fine. I need hydration when I sleep because my throat is so dry and I have severe allergies. Excellent humidifier A +++.
