Good quality cargo liner with minor (but not insurmountable) imperfections

This cargo liner was purchased for our Great Dane who weighed over 130 pounds. First, it's a well-made product! It fits our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and has ample protection on the sides which was a plus! It was easy to install - literally just unfold the adjustable straps and secure them around your seat and headrest! I'll mention that the strap that runs around the back seat is fully extended and barely fits without squeezing the back seat (and that's at its narrowest point). . However, I had to get in the car to pull and stretch it, so a few more inches of belt would have been nice to have a little more wiggle room. Haven't had to wash it yet so can't comment on its durability but given the durable material and construction I expect it to hold up in the wash. The rubber base is great and keeps the liner from slipping. BUT the material itself is a bit slippery, so be aware that even though your liner isn't moving, your dog may slip on the liner itself. I notice a lot of fuss when I turn a corner. A feltier/textured surface can help alleviate some of these issues. Of course, this smooth material makes it easier to shake out and probably contributes to the water resistance, but I think I would have preferred it to be more comfortable/safer for the dog. It is difficult for our dog to jump into the car. Love the bumper protection flap feature (one of the main reasons I bought this type of product), but while our Dane can easily hop with her two front legs, she slips off when she tries to put her back legs in. because there is no clutch. She actually slipped and fell to the ground as she got excited and tried to jump all the way. Now I help her by lifting her hind legs after she has lifted her front legs. If your dog is more agile and can jump the full height of the bumper with ease, this probably isn't a problem, but be aware that once your dog is used to using the bumper at all, it may be difficult to climb in . Of course you can't use the valve. Overall a great product but it couldn't hurt to pay more attention to the design!
