I have a 10 year old 7 lb chihuahua. I ordered a small one and it fits perfectly. It seems waterproof and warm enough. Easy entry and exit. Good quality. I took the hood off because it's useless with his pointy ears, but that was the plan from the start. He's a boy and hiding keeps him warm but allows him to do his own thing. My Chi hates wearing sweaters and coats. He doesn't like to feel restricted. But he doesn't seem to mind how the coat fits. We don't use loincloths, they are too tight and difficult to put on and take off. They also rub against his delicate skin. Overall very happy with this purchase.
