I needed something very portable and "stand alone" when I wanted to shoot alone. For that it will work. You can easily adjust the angle, which is a plus. Changing the fabric to the gold side or vice versa is very easy. However, the fabric on the frame is not stretched too much. Lastolite frames hold the fabric in very tightly - even on a windy day. They attach freely with Velcro! I still like the ALZO for its portability and ease of use - just keep it away from a windy day. The frame is very similar to Lastolite but with a smaller diameter. The fabric is held in place by four elastic bands and small Velcro fasteners. I will use it from time to time when I need something fast, portable and not C-Post and Boom.
