Review on NUD15815 Solid Oak Hardwood Frame by Elizabeth Reyes

These frames are well made and attractive but the description is misleading as they are not solid oak (or at least not any oak I've ever had). visible). I believe it refers to a light tone color but with little or no visible grain, like oak. While the manufacturer advertises (on their own website) their US manufacturing facility, these frames are made in China. The plastic cover is not a rigid acrylic sheet as you might expect, but a flexible sheet about the thickness of lightweight poster board. If I rated this item on quality alone it would be higher as the workmanship is very good and they serve the purpose we bought them for but that's a little disappointing as we could buy comparable frames made in China. less so at our local Wal-Mart. Thought these would be better.
