My cat has an eye problem and was given a very hard plastic cone by the vet which I can tell made her quite uncomfortable. I bought it as a replacement and was very happy! As soon as I took off and put on the first collar she started purring and rubbing her legs. The fabric collar is soft and padded enough to stay on the neck but offers comfort and support. The buttons work well and allow you to adjust the collar. The cone itself is flexible enough for my cat to lie down comfortably, which she couldn't with the previous cone, and it also holds its shape well. It's also wide enough not to rub her cheeks all the time, which I know she appreciates, and light enough not to lean down as she walks so she can look clearly ahead . I love that I can easily detach it to give to pets or to clean. The only reason I gave this product four stars is that the fabric cone rim is not that easy to clean. This is something I really want to clean even though she is an indoor cat as she gets in contact with everything and had a lot of hair and lint on her that I had to rip off. HOWEVER - not enough issues for me not to recommend this product. I think this cone is great and I'm glad I bought it! Very worth the price. Maybe I'll get one too!
