My husband hates the coaster. I have no idea why, but it's a constant problem in our marriage. Well, as for using the coaster after 15 years. It was a game changer with that barrier. I like the usefulness of this tool. I think that might be what got him over himself. The fact that we can park several different spoons and spatulas and such in their own little house was something I never knew I needed. I also think it's good that there is a reservoir so that the liquid doesn't spread everywhere. Finally, we wash the dishes by hand and it's so easy to clean up after cooking every night. Nothing sticks and everything is easy to wash off. I wish I had had something like this earlier in my life.
