Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great monitor! to my rating.

I bought this monitor to upgrade my 24" 1080p. This monitor is absolutely amazing and perfect for my use. I use it as my laptop's extended desktop with a mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable (not included) .gaming moderately but mostly using the monitor for research and all the new available desktop space makes multitasking a lot easier.Picture quality is immaculate although I'm not an expert. After using my monitor at 1440p for a few hours my old looks Monitor is outdated at 1080p and I'm wondering why I haven't made the jump sooner in the near future, and the ability to daisy chain monitors will make connecting a laptop that much easier** I was just told that You need to use [DisplayPort out] and [DisplayPort in] for this. It doesn't work with any adapter (I used DisplayPort or HDMI). ** The P IP capability is a plus; although I don't plan to use it much. Another reviewer mentioned problems with the PIP source. I haven't had these problems and can change the PIP source to HDMI 1, HDMI 2 or DVI-D. *Note that my primary source is DisplayPort. This monitor also allowed me to get rid of the laptop docking station. I now have a keyboard, mouse, external CD drive and portable hard drive connected to the monitor's USB hub. From here I just connected a USB cable to my laptop. The monitor can continue to supply power to USB even when the monitor is off. The ONLY downside I found with this monitor is the quality of the speakers. They are not of the best quality; My laptop speakers are MUCH better. It didn't bother me and I knew it before I bought it. *Note: There is NO [Audio Out] on the monitor.

Pros
  • Signal inputs: 1 x DVI-D, 2 x HDMI, 1 x display port and 1 x display port out
Cons
  • Limited viewing angles
