So far everything is good with covers and mattress covers
I believe it will work! We bought a new mattress a few months ago and thought our pup had outgrown the accidents on our bed. Oh wonder she was in an accident recently so it's time to order a protective case. This lid has a nice soft side and a plastic bottom with a mesh border. It's very comfortable and doesn't make a crunching sound when you lie in it. You even forget it's on your mattress! You place the sheet face up (see photo) and then the sheet is placed directly on top. We haven't tested this yet, but I believe it will save lives from future accidents or spills :)
