I've seen reviews of these and people say they don't have enough gold flake and/or one earring has more gold than the other. and unfortunately that was the case for me too. (If I hadn't been warned about this in other people's ratings/comments, I would have given them two stars instead of three). looks a lot better than it actually is. I still like her. I won't be returning them (because even if I sent them back and ordered more, they'd probably still look like they already have them) and I'd still wear them with the clothes I bought, but that's it it's definitely one of the most disappointing pairs of earrings/gauges I've bought online (and I've bought LOTS of them online).
