We bought this for our laptop and when it arrived it was better than we expected. The laptop sat comfortably on the table and moved slightly across the floor. However, we are sending it back because the tabletop is tilted to the LEFT, meaning the laptop is not level. The base is nice and flat, as is the top of the mouse pad. This is due to a poor weld attaching the arm to the table top. At this point it is not level, i.e. without a welded level. it will probably happen again. After checking the reviews again, we find that someone else is having the same issue. Our box was new and the item was new, no returns. All parts and assembly instructions were included. It has a comfortable setting for sitting on our couch and using a laptop and good range to tilt the table top if you like. It's fairly solid and would have satisfactorily met our needs had it not been for a bad weld that caused the entire top to tilt towards the ground. Hope others get a better product.
