The right slipper was defective. The left slipper was comfortable (though a tad bit small). From the photos you can see the soles seem to be correct (left and right) but the uppers on the right slipper is pointed outward, as if it is a left upper, and was very uncomfortable. Just a production error. We reordered the same slipper (in the next size up) and hope we get a proper fit. HOWEVER, these cost $25 and the return credit for *defective product* is $16, even though we immediately returned them. That's not fair. Hence the ratings.
