I love these headlights! They look like old-fashioned lightbulbs. I turned on the device according to the instructions and placed it in direct sunlight. But when they were delivered / brought it was already noon. It was sunset so I just plugged them into USB overnight to make sure they were fully charged. When connected to USB, the small indicator changes color from red to green when charging. I kept them in the charging box because I wanted to make sure they worked before taking them all out. The next evening we put them outside. Presto! This happened just before sunset. They haven't slept in a week and we've had a few showers and they're holding up well! They go every night. A++++++++++++ 2 small suggestions to the manufacturer: Change the on/off switch so that the consumer can tell if the position is on or off - maybe a toggle switch? Also, use green or clear wires instead of black wires to blend in well with the surroundings.
