Review on Delta Childrens Products Minnie Toddler by Shaun Ford

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Construction report, haven't slept yet.

My daughter will not sleep in it yet so my review is more about assembly. Assembly wasn't too difficult, but I think paying attention to a few details would have made all the difference. For example, in the instructions, the parts were labeled with letters, but the parts themselves were not (with the exception of some screws). So if you have rods that look the same, it's hard to tell if you're using long rods or short rods. As I said, definitely doable. but I had to stop, undo and redo parts a few times because they were either backwards or guessing the directions. All in all for now it looks like a bed that will last a few years if only used for sleeping and not played/jumped on it much. The plastic sides and front and back are quite sturdy and remind me of the plastic on kids outdoor toys. The actual frame holding the bed is a little questionable. Not sure if it won't sag if it has rough houses on it. The bed is very close to the floor. I know it's for toddlers but it seems too low. And in line with other reviews, don't let kids hang or pull on the canopy. It's just a light mesh fabric draped over very thin plastic poles. I think the price I paid was too high for the quality, but I also knew I was actually paying for the characters. The bed is beautiful and the little one likes it very much, it's just not ready to move in yet.

Pros
  • Meets all JPMA safety standards
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly
