I spent a lot of time pouring over iPad cover reviews trying to decide which cover was the least bad. Seemed like every cover had a certain amount of negative reviews or had some feature I wasn't wild about. I finally bit the bullet and bought this cover.Right out of the box, I noticed that it does have the chemical smell that people were talking about. I kind of figure that smells like this are hard to avoid, and it will probably go away. After a few hours, I find that I have to actually smell the cover to notice the smell. From an average usage distance, I'm not noticing the smell anymore.All of the necessary usage areas are exposed. Ports, buttons, cameras, speakers, and microphones all seem to be exposed.I really like the stylus loop and its position. My stylus fits snugly and doesn't feel like it will slip out easily.The cover has magnets and will wake up my iPad when it opens.The cover does add to the bulk of the iPad air, but I personally like that. When my iPad is naked, I find it really hard to hang on to because it is so darn thin. With this cover, it is much easier for me to handle. I was concerned that this cover might be too bulky before I bought it, but I don't think it is now that I see it in person.All in all, I would definitely recommend this cover if you are looking at the pictures and think it might be a good choice for you. The pictures are accurate, and the feel of the cover is nice.
