Since I've been spending a lot more time sitting at my laptop during the COVID-19 quarantine, I've decided to buy a mouse for my laptops. I actually have two for convenience as my bedroom and study are on the third floor and my living room is on the ground floor. In my home office and living room I use this Anewish Bluetooth with my new HP Chromebook, my old Toshiba Chromebook and my HP Pavilion x2 10 Removable PC. Fortunately, the touch keyboard and cursor controls worked. I connected a Bluetooth mouse which proved to be a lifesaver as I was able to navigate much faster than just swiping my fingers across the touchscreen. Mouse tracking is very fast. I've read that Bluetooth can be slower than RF, but I haven't noticed any lag. I love that there isn't a USB receiver key that I don't have to worry about losing. This has happened to me in the past with mice and left me with a useless paperweight. I also bent the USB dongle (stick shape) when moving the laptop and power cord. Initially, it was convenient to connect directly to Bluetooth without messing around with a dongle. However, it later became difficult to connect to the mouse from two different laptops, even if they were already paired. I ended up hooking up a mouse to both, but I can't waste time every day using a mouse. The internal battery of this mouse is charged via micro USB. I like that I don't have to change disposable alkaline batteries or charge standalone rechargeable batteries. When the battery is low, I can plug the mouse into the laptop's USB port or into an external charger. After that I can continue to use the mouse while it is charging. The mouse has an attractive silver/white color scheme that matches my laptops. Slim profile and light weight make it travel friendly. The sides of the mouse are sharper than we'd like. Over time, moving the mouse became more uncomfortable as my fingers became a little sore. It's fine for occasional use though.
