They run small. I would buy 8.5 but they don't have it. These shoes were tight on my big toe. You are very uncomfortable. They also picked up a lot of dirt very quickly. So I had mud stains on the top and sides of my shoes. I haven't even walked in the mud. Maybe I feel more comfortable wearing them without socks. So I will clean them and try again. But they look very stylish and beautiful. Size 9 would definitely be too big for me. I really needed a size 8.5. I usually take size 8 for sneakers.
