The Fintie case makes a very good first impression, from the great coloring, to the fit, to the case itself (Van Gogh's Starry Night in my case). The body is slim, durable and lightweight; It closes securely whether the keyboard is attached with a magnet or not. There are three positions at different angles to hold the iPad. The keyboard is smaller than some of the competition but has excellent responsiveness. The number keys at the top of the keyboard, including the backspace key, are smaller than other keys and can be problematic for those with large fingers. Once the initial Bluetooth pairing is established, waking the keyboard up simply connects it by pressing FN and the dedicated home button at the same time. Like most case/keyboard combos, the case cannot be securely closed unless the keyboard is slid inward. Opening and closing the suitcase frequently throughout the day can be a minor annoyance. On the other hand, if the keyboard and case are used together for most of the day and the owner wants to use the iPad and case separately at other times, the case folds up conveniently (better without the keyboard attached than with it). All the main keys are located where a blind typist would need to find them. I haven't been able to travel with the keyboard, but I don't expect any issues using it on an airplane seat tray.
