The apron itself is durable. I haven't got any scratches yet. However, the laces are terribly cheap and short. Most Americans couldn't tie themselves behind their back because they're so short. And the laces easily unravel from the apron (like mine) leaving it snagged with nothing to tie. So when it comes to bending over, it's easy to step on and then break the top at the neck.
