I don’t carry a lot of stuff with me. It's perfect for my large wallet and cell phone. Closes with a zip (metal zip) and has a detachable cross-body shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is very stiff and still has a bit of puckering after about a week so I don't use it. The bag itself is sturdy but easy to open to see everything inside the bag. There's even an inside zip pocket for small items and 2 open pockets for things like a cell phone and checkbook.
